Thanks to space-age, co-polymer AirCore® corrugated plastic material, AirCore planes are five times tougher than balsa wood or stryofoam structures. In a crash these planes tend to bounce instead of break! AirCore material is also both fuel and water proof.
AirCore planes build quick thanks to Fold & Fly™ Technology (U.S. Patent #5,398,893), ready to fly in only a few evenings or a weekend. Everything is pre-cut and scored, ready to fold up and glue together with simple contact cement. Complete, illustrated instructions guide you through each step.
The patented Power Cartridge™ (PC) (U.S. Patent #5,046,979) is a slide in tray included with each U.S. AirCore kit. You mount your radio, engine, battery pack, gas tank and servos to the PC. It slides into the nose of all AirCore airplanes on a set of built-in rails and is held in place with retaining screws. This modular system saves you hundreds of dollars every time you add a plane to your fleet! All U.S. AirCore planes are PC compatibile.
